On the other side, you discover a kindred spirit and their world. What will you learn from each other? Will you enrich each others' lives, or will one benefit while the other suffers? 

About the game

There's Always a Window is a solo journaling TTRPG that's as cozy, exploratory, exciting, enlightening, and/or scary as you care to make it. Using a standard deck of cards, you'll learn more about your kindred spirit and their world, while coming to understand and embrace your own via journaling prompts in the process.

The journaling prompts are vague enough to give you lots of freedom, while building a realm of possibilities that'll guide your imagination. Additional prompts encourage reevaluating ourselves, our biases, and a stronger sense of empathy. 

In the end, you'll be left with your memories, your lessons, and the excitement of diving back in again to discover a new world or revisit a kindred spirit once more.

The game includes three files:

• "individual pages.pdf" contains all eight pages in a standard, printable (or viewable) PDF.
• "zine.pdf" and "zine.png" are single-sheet prints that, when folded, create an eight-page zine!
