Welcome, apprentice! While you're not a skilled enough taleteller yet for complex narratives, you can still conjure up stories of your own. Your first assignment is to craft a tale about a subject (someone you know), set into a wild, heroic role.

Gather up all of the true (but perhaps ✨embellished✨) things you can to write about how your subject fits their role perfectly, weaving the story together. But, again, you're not skilled enough to write complex characters yet, so focus solely on the things that make them perfect for the role!

Inspiration

This was created for @blancisthecreative's #minizinejuly25. July 6th -10th prompt: "Story Teller." It's also based on the concept of the therapy tool of rewriting your story, picking and choosing from your life to shape the narrative of who you are. I figured that having you write about someone else, instead, would be the perfect practice to lead you into rewriting yourself. Which is something I, myself, do at least a few times a year thanks to my depression spirals...
