Thankful Gathering
A downloadable Holiday Zine
Thankful Gathering is a collection of Thanksgiving-themed minigames all folded up into a portable little 8-page booklet that is small enough to tuck into your pocket. Some of the games can be enjoyed solo but were made with the intention of printing up multiple copies so that each of your holiday guests can play along too.
Uniquely Grateful: You'll need two 6-sided dice (total) and a pen (or pencil) and paper for each player. You'll take turns rolling for prompts where everyone will write down all the ways they're grateful for that person or thing. You'll then compare your answers and score points on things you're Uniquely Grateful for.
Phoning It In: A little scavenger hunt! You'll need a smartphone for this one. Using only what is on your phone before you started playing Thankful Gathering, you'll see how many of the listed items are currently on your phone. The person with the most checked-off items wins. It's ok if you make them prove it by showing everyone all the things, especially the selfie with a scarecrow photos.
Emojine That: A small list of picture combinations. Can you guess the holiday words they depict?
The Foodies: This one is for everyone who can't resist snapping a picture of their dinner plate and sharing it on social media. Now you can give them the award they deserve! Everyone takes a food photo, shows them off, and assigns an award to everyone else's photo. Then you take turns giving out your awards. Will people think your photo is worthy of the next cover of Food Network Magazine, or be horrified that you piled the cranberry sauce on top of your nana's potato salad to make room for more mac & cheese, giving you the award Frankenfood?
Hand Turkey: Anyone else's school have you trace your hand and then decorate it like a turkey or was that just me? Anyway, now is your chance! Suggested basic supplies for making hand turkeys include pencils or pens, crayons, colored pencils, or markers. If you want to be more elaborate and have construction paper, scissors and glue they can make little feathers to glue on to the hand to give it the turkey plumage. Or you can provide magazines and paste for decoupage. I have provided a digital version of a hand turkey in the answer key file so that if anyone has no idea what I am talking about they can see an example.
How Do I Fold It Though?
This video is a great example of how to fold an 8-page zine!

The Zine file does not seem to be in the downloads (at the free-claim level), just the other two.
Oh weird! We each did this too and yeah, it did the same to us. But when I hit "back", it loaded the same page again and included the printable zine. Then when I went back to get the exact wording of the steps, it just showed me all three files again.
So you should be able to get it by clicking "Download or claim" again and then doing the whole "No thanks, just take me to the downloads." It'll show the downloadable files, and should include the printable zine. And if that still doesn't do it, press your browser's "back" button.
Sorry lol, this was a new way to do it for us, and I absolutely didn't expect that to happen 😅
Also thanks for pointing this issue out :D
Weird – I see it too if I follow that procedure, and I’ve just downloaded it, but it’s still missing if I click the

button in theYou own this Holiday Zine
banner at the top. That's so freaking weird! LOL I have no idea what's up, but I just made the whole thing $1 instead of just that file, and will change it back after the sale is over. Hopefully that helps :D

Welp, looks like my Claim is frozen as-was, but hopefully that will help other people :)
