Tis the Season Game Zine

Tis the Season Game Zine is a collection of holiday-themed minigames all folded up into a portable little 8-page booklet that is small enough to tuck into your pocket. Some of the games can be enjoyed solo but were made with the intention of printing up multiple copies so that each of your holiday guests can play along too. 

Uniquely Grateful: You'll need two 6-sided dice (total) and a pen (or pencil) and paper for each player.  You'll take turns rolling for prompts where everyone will write down all the ways they're grateful for that person or thing. You'll then compare your answers and score points on things you're Uniquely Grateful for. 

Match My Merriment: A list of words where you'll write the first word(s) you associate with. For example: If the word Christmas was there, would you think of wreath, tree, season, spirit, or something else? Harder still, what would your partner think... list, cookies, cheer? When you're done writing your answers, you'll compare them with who you buddied up with and see how many answers you matched. 

Phoning It In: A little scavenger hunt! You'll need a smartphone for this one. Using only what is on your phone before you started playing Tis the Season, you'll see how many of the listed items are currently on your phone. The person with the most checked-off items wins. It's ok if you make them prove it by showing everyone all the things, especially the embarrassing ugly sweater photos.

Rollin' with the Resolutions: You'll need a six-sided die. "Tis the Season" for making resolutions, but that can be tough. You want to make a resolution that doesn't have you failing before you started, but you also want it to be meaningful and feel like you've built a good habit to carry into the new year. If you'd like a little help with that, take your d6 and roll to see what you'll randomly be spending all that resolve on.
