Welcome, brave adventurers! I have transformed myself from a mere mortal into this very dungeon you’re in now. I remain ageless, timeless, deathless, limitless! And you’re in for the challenge of a lifetime; your might, magic, and agility will do you no good here. Why’s that, you ask? Because the only way to successfully claim my treasure and avoid the perilous traps strewn about is…with a good memory! 

Drawn Out Dungeon is a memory game, but PLOT TWIST, it’s also a dungeon exploring game! You’ll move your pawns from card to card, secretly looking at the card you’ve interacted with. If you can remember (or guess!) where a matching card is, you’ll gain coins (from treasure) or experience (from traps). But beware! Fail to remember where a matching card is and you may set off all sorts of fiendish traps that will rearrange the dungeon or move your pawn!

Drawn Out Dungeon was created for the Artisan Jam, which challenged game makers to do as much by hand as possible... and that's exactly what we did! Literally EVERY. SINGLE. THING. in this game was done by hand and scanned in. Some tricks were used, like scanning and copying images when we were worried we'd mess them up lol, or writing the rules by hand and then sliding fixed text over messed-up text so I didn't have to rewrite a whole page... But literally the only digital adjustments that were made were changing ink to black and white, resizing things, and moving things around. That's it!

NOTE: I did include a typed-out version of the rules as well, and there's a notepad file of very, very minor clarifications that I forgot to include in the rulebook. And in the future, we plan to make typed versions of the cards as well. Because of these future changes and a strong desire to improve this game in the near future, this game is marked as "in development".
