Written for @blancisthecreative #minizinejuly25. July 6th - 10th prompt was Story Telling. With the following instructions: "Share us [sic] a story in your mini zine. A story about you or one that's passed down. Share your story before someone else does."

Since I was a child, I have written short stories, song parodies, and poetry. I really enjoy writing exercises, prompts, and challenges. Looking at photographs and paintings and imagining the worlds or moments they've captured. Who would have painted or taken these pictures and the stories that live within them. So, when I saw the prompt of "Story Telling", this is what came to mind, the stories that come from observation and inspiration.

Sometimes I Write Vignettes is the fifth in a series of poetry collection zines and contains 6 short poems. These poems are little glimpses into different characters inspired by prompts, pictures, and songs.
