Alone in the Underground

You'll need

• A standard deck of cards (jokers removed)
• A six-sided die (d6)
• Something to write with and on

You were born in the Underground, a series of abandoned subway tunnels. It is all you’ve known. There are books that show the world above, but no one is foolish enough to brave the Wastelands anymore.

It's been a whole generation since humanity has felt the rain on their face, the sun on their skin, or the grass tickling their feet. Down here it’s concrete, dirt and darkness.

Alone in the Underground is a solo RPG where you'll use standard playing cards and a d6 to journal about exploring for resources, and precious space to survive.

Inspiration

This solo journaling game is a hack of Alone Among the Stars by Takuma Okada.

It was made for the Sunday Zine Club #18 Jam, which had the theme of Underground.
